Wapate Community Guidelines
No creative should feel alone.
Wapate exists to help people create, connect, meet, and collaborate. Our community should be welcoming, respectful, and safe for people from different backgrounds, cultures, disciplines, and countries.
Be respectful
Treat other people with dignity.
Do not harass, threaten, bully, humiliate, or deliberately intimidate others.
No hate
Wapate does not allow hateful or degrading content targeting people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, or sexual orientation.
No harassment
Do not repeatedly contact someone after they have made it clear that they do not want further contact.
Do not stalk, threaten, sexually harass, or intimidate other users.
No impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, organisation, creative, or the official Wapate account.
No spam
Do not use Wapate to repeatedly send unwanted promotional messages, advertisements, links, or requests.
Respect creative work
Do not steal, repost, sell, or claim another person's artwork, photography, writing, music, design, or other creative work as your own.
Keep interactions responsible
If you meet someone through Wapate, use reasonable judgment and take appropriate precautions, especially when meeting for the first time.
Report problems
If you see behaviour that violates these guidelines, report it to Wapate.
Depending on the situation, Wapate may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently remove users from the platform.
These guidelines may evolve as the Wapate community grows.
